Interesting...

(from Todd Fuhrman)

Given how angry dealers were about losing money, could autograph dealers have bet against Manziel offshore? http://outkickthecoverage.com/the-manziel-moves.php…

Clay Travis ‏@ClayTravisBGID
That would be an amazing story if these autograph dealers tipped off the NCAA and bet against Manziel in the process.

Read the @bfeldmancbs piece if you want to see how angry autograph dealers were at Manziel. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootbal…

ESPN got in bed with some real sleazeballs and did a story with gaping holes in it regarding the allegations.

This whole episode is uncovering the seedy underbelly of the behemoth the NCAA college sports industry has turned in to. The common business practice of manufacturing/selling factory stacks of players autographs on sports items by the hundreds. The seedy characters involved, who may have ulterior motives beyond payment. The betting on games. How the possible framing of a player affects the sports line, etc.

Sorry, I should take off my tin foil hat.

the autograph brokers are indeed slimeballs. Could definitely be playing the game from both ends
